Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Must hold a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult) required Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Experience in acute care - Patient population primarily includes adults and geriatrics - Float requirements may include MedSurg as needed Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Rehabilitation. The role involves caring for patients primarily in an adult population. It requires a solid understanding of rehabilitation nursing practices. The nurse will assist with various patient diagnoses including neuro, trauma, burn, gait training, strengthening, and wound management. The nurse will be expected to work effectively within a team to provide high-quality patient care. This position guarantees either 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend hours may be required every other weekend. The work environment includes a facility with advanced rehabilitation equipment and electronic health record systems. Candidates should demonstrate capability in managing patient care effectively, engage with patients, and support families. Preferred experience includes travel nursing, although not required. An understanding of lift equipment and the ability to work within specified patient ratios is essential. Candidates should be prepared to fulfill any additional duties assigned as necessary.
