Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist in the therapeutic radiation oncology field will provide radiation treatment for patients undergoing cancer therapy within an acute care facility. The position involves operating advanced imaging and treatment equipment, ensuring accurate delivery of treatments, and adhering to established clinical protocols to promote patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, start time varies between 6:30 am and 8:30 am based on patient volume; 8-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license preferred); at least 1 year of radiation therapy experience; ability to work daytime shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical record systems, specifically Epic; prior community hospital or outpatient clinic experience; experience with advanced radiation techniques such as SRS and SBRT.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible with shift start times, commit to working a minimum of 3 of the 5 designated holidays, and be able to provide two references covering at least one year within the past three years.
