You'll perform all responsibilities and job duties with a sense of ownership and a team mindset.Key Responsibilities & Essential FunctionsStocking / Sanitation: Performs total store recovery, refills, culling, and replenishing of product across multiple departments in the store as neededStocks returned or not purchased product from Returns area to the shelfAssists with loading, unloading, and moving heavy, bulky products to support in-stock conditions when neededChecks shipments for out-of-date and damaged product to ensure freshness and qualityReports all out of date and damaged product issues to the ManagerAssists with stocking; refills merchandise as neededCollects carts from the parking lotOrganizes, cleans, empties bins, and prepares sales floorEliminates cardboard and trash on shelves and merchandising fixturesCleans shelves and all merchandising fixtures; keeps sales floor area clean and safeAdheres to all SOPs for safety and sanitationMinimizes shrink through careful handling of productAchieves productivity standardsComplies with all federal, state, and Company regulations and standards for product freshness, food safety, and sanitationCustomer Service: Maintains a clean and safe store environment for the customer shopping experienceProvides customer service by answering product-related questions and assisting Customers in a friendly mannerScans Customer items and completes transaction in fast and friendly manner, as neededThe responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position.
