Job Title: Senior Project Manager Location(s): Richmond, VA (Hybrid: preferred 2 days/week onsite) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and implementation of a Revenue Lifecycle Replacement System. This is a high-risk, enterprise-level initiative involving multiple workstreams, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on project manager with extensive experience driving complex technology implementations from planning through execution. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of a complex revenue lifecycle replacement project. Coordinate activities among vendors, consultants, IT teams, and business stakeholders. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and deliverables. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Manage vendor performance and track progress using defined metrics. Prepare and deliver executive‑level project status reports and presentations. Oversee day‑to‑day project execution across multiple workstreams. Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership, business stakeholders, project sponsors, technology teams, vendors, and suppliers. Collaborate with technology leads and solution architects to incorporate organizational best practices into project planning and execution. Drive project delivery throughout the full lifecycle, including procurement, planning, execution, risk management, scope management, and transition to operations. Ensure compliance with established project management standards, governance, and reporting requirements. Facilitate the resolution of technical and business issues impacting project success. Lead project scoping, requirements gathering, estimation, and planning activities. Required Skills Extensive experience managing large, high‑risk, complex IT implementation projects. Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management skills. Experience managing third‑party vendors and consulting partners. Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Strong risk, issue, and change management experience. Experience presenting project updates to senior leadership. Hands‑on approach to project execution and delivery. Strong leadership, coordination, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience implementing revenue lifecycle, revenue cycle, or enterprise business systems. Experience working within government or public‑sector environments. Familiarity with formal project management governance frameworks. Experience coordinating enterprise technology implementations involving multiple vendors and internal teams. Note Hybrid work (2 days onsite per week) is preferred. Exceptional remote candidates may be considered if all required experience is clearly documented throughout the resume. Local candidates are preferred due to the onsite expectation. Parking is not provided for contractors.
