This role involves cleaning and disinfecting work areas, equipment, and surfaces to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. The Sanitation Associate plays a critical role in preventing the spread of germs, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and upholding the organization's cleanliness standards. Responsibilities Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping surfaces. Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, production areas, equipment, and other designated areas according to established protocols and schedules. Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste, garbage, and recyclable materials in designated containers or disposal areas. Follow proper waste management procedures and adhere to environmental regulations. Chemical Handling: Dilute and mix cleaning chemicals following safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of cleaning agents and supplies. Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain cleaning equipment, such as mops, brooms, vacuums, and scrubbers.
