About the PositionThe Project Manager supports the implementation of the research studyunder the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI).The Project Manageris responsible for the recruitment of research participants, the managementof the data collection, and oversight of the grant budgetAbout the ProjectThe Geneva Foundation is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the operational, regulatory, and multi-site execution of a high-impact, multi-year Department of Defense (DoD) PRMRP research initiative. This program is developing a first-in-class, patient-matched 3D-printed orthopedic implant system (PM-SDIS) combined with a novel, non-eluting antimicrobial coating (DMPEI) designed to prevent biofilm infections and promote bone integration in severe trauma and limb-salvage cases. The Program Manager will serve as the central operational nexus coordinating activities across The Geneva Foundation, Boston University, the University of Pennsylvania and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.Note: This part-time position requires 2 days per week on-site at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, with remote work for the remaining hours.Salary Range$42,500. Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate’s related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.QualificationsBachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferredProject Management Certification preferredMinimum of 3 years’ experience in project management requiredMinimum of 5 year’s research experience requiredComputer skills including at least intermediate level experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office SoftwareManagement ResponsibilitiesSupports the management of the study budget and complies with Standard Operating Practices of The Geneva Foundation and site as applicableExhibits a high degree of flexibility in the management of and participation in complex research team communicationsAdvises and assists in management duties of the projectAssists and advises on budgetary and resource management topicsResponsibilitiesPromotes safety and confidentiality of research participants and records at all timesDemonstrates proficiency in performing basic study-related procedures as requiredMaintains a collaborative research environment between the PI, other site personnel, research participants, The Geneva Foundation, and the funding organizationSupports and, where appropriate, directs the following research activities: Prepares research study reports to include awareness of regulatory submission processExecutes and maintains research study under the direction of the Principal InvestigatorManages study documentation (paper and electronic formats)Subject recruitment, enrollment, consenting and follow-up communications, supports, executes, and monitors human performance testing with clinical systemsMaintains documentation of all correspondence and communication pertinent to the researchProcures supplies and equipment as authorized per research budget guidelinesCoordinates and schedules study subject groups and individual interviews to include scheduling of available office space/training rooms, access to work areas during and after hours, and preparation of any equipment necessary for data collectionMaintains research study administrative, logistical, technical, and data management functions, following proper security measures where appropriateMaintains the physical security of the research office space and equipment to include key controlSupports the preparation of manuscripts and reports to include budget discussion, formatting and editingPerforms research and development duties that assist current programs managed or developed to help insure work efforts are successfulProvides technical and after-action reports as requested #J-18808-Ljbffr
