Agronomy Operations Manager

Gpac is partnered with a leader in the Ag business is looking to hire an Agronomy Operations Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of the dry plant operation. This position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary, bonuses, and healthcare.

Responsibilities:

Leads and directs personnel of Dry Plant Operations
Maximizes efficiency of Plant Operations to reduce downtime
Develop SOPs for Plant Operations
Achieve goals as set by location and company
Assist agronomists with mapping, fertility, record keeping, recommendations, and soil sampling procedures
Maintain great communication and teamwork among the operation

Requirements:

2+ years management in Ag business, supply management, or procurement
Working knowledge of industrial or farm products/services
Must be able to maintain and develop relationships with customers
Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
Basic computer skills related to custom application
Valid Class A CDL (or ability to obtain)
