Large Casualty Production Underwriters

there are two positions for underwriters in an energy group with a national carrier. They do not need to have energy experience but they do need experience underwriting all casualty lines for large accounts (500K and up through large risk management size) including experience with retros / loss sensitive etc. They would be writing new and renewal business for GL, Auto and Comp and working with large national brokers throughout the mid-south, southwest. Candidates should have existing relationships with the Marsh's and Aon's of the world in some combination of Houston / Southwest /West Coast. If we had someone in Dallas who has those West Coast broker relationships my client might just do a snoopy dance on his desk. :)
Can be brought in at one of 3 salary grades so could go anywhere from 3-5 years experience and up and salary could be anywhere from 90-130. Bonus between 12-20% depending, again, on the salary grade they are brought in at. Must have 4 year degree. Client would like to get them onboard ASAP to be up to speed by 10/1 and 1/1 renewals.
