Job Opportunity – ICU Nurse – Kansas

Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48 hours guaranteed per week, self-scheduling with every third weekend requirement

Highlights:

• 25-bed Intensive Care Unit with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Specialized procedures including open heart recovery, bedside cardioversions, bronchoscopy, CRRT, and Impella
• Advanced unit technology featuring Alaris pumps and GE monitors with MediTech documentation system
• Unit staffed with charge nurse, unit secretary (7a-11p), and educator support
• Organization actively pursuing Pathway to Excellence designation with Unit of Distinction status in progress
• Strong collaborative teamwork environment with commitment to patient experience excellence

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Critical care experience strongly required
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to change
• Neuro and trauma experience preferred
