Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse with a strong background in infusion therapies and oncology. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in an ambulatory oncology setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
• Demonstrate competency in chemotherapy administration, including passing a chemotherapy test.
• Manage a patient load with a ratio of 1:8, providing individualized care to each patient.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) system, specifically EPIC, for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of infusion experience required.
• Ambulatory oncology experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Shift Expectations:

This position will require a full-time commitment with shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
