Afternoon Babysitter for School-Aged Child

Overview The Nature Nest Preschool in Hartford, CT, is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable babysitter for a 6-year-old child. This position requires an individual passionate about working with young children and committed to creating a safe and engaging environment where children can learn and explore. Responsibilities Supervise the child during afternoons from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Thursday to Friday, starting on June 18, 2026. Support social-emotional development and ensure a clean, organized space while fostering a nurturing atmosphere. No driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime duties are required. Qualifications Patient, flexible, and enthusiastic about outdoor education and child-led learning. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Experience working with young children is preferred. Compensation & Benefits Pay rate will be determined based on experience, education, and qualifications, starting at minimum wage.
