Job Title: District Sales Manager - Wisconsin Sussex, WI, USA, 53089 Job Purpose The District Sales Manager is primarily responsible for driving sales activities within the assigned territory by managing a sales team, performing sales forecasts, ensuring sales revenue and profit growth, reviewing market analyses, and monitoring pricing objectives. Key responsibilities include: Travel within the district to visit clients and oversee sales operations. Work in an office environment while also spending time in the field with sales representatives and clients. Exposure to heat, cold, dark, and inclement weather. Wear required personal protective equipment such as hard hats, hi‑viz vest, safety glasses, and hearing protection. What You Will Do Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accomplish regional sales goals. Manage Sales Representatives to ensure market growth and business plan objectives are met. Develop training and conduct performance evaluations for Sales Representatives. Participate in the hiring and promotion of sales representatives. Assign sales territories to Sales Representatives. Deliver sales presentations to top customers in coordination with Sales Representatives. Meet with top customers, assisting Sales Representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals. Analyze sales statistics to assist in promoting sales decisions. Analyze market data and opportunities to ensure proper sales coverage. Communicate with General Manager to ensure customer commitments and opportunities are captured. Collaborate with National Accounts and Industrial Resources Group on sales initiatives. Coordinate marketing and advertising efforts for local market awareness. Direct and participate in customer appreciation programs. Build a personal relationship with the region's Top 20 accounts. Maintain awareness of the top 10 jobsites and contractors in the region. Communicate with region staff regarding fleet requirements. Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of competitors within the assigned region. Submit status reports and monthly itineraries to the Regional Manager of Operations. Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred Skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to walk on uneven surfaces. Ability to drive for extended periods of time. Ability to climb into and out of pick‑up trucks. Ability to climb steps, ladders, and navigate jobsite structures. Ability to sit frequently. Ability to reach with hands and arms. Ability to twist, bend, stoop, and squat. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds. Ability to push and pull up to 30 pounds. Pay Range US$115,000.00 – $125,000.00 plus bonus and vehicle allowances. Salary is subject to the company’s discretion and may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, and overall fit for the role.
