Assistant Teacher

Job Summary Are you passionate about working with children and helping them grow? Butterfly Bunch Early Childhood Center is looking for a dedicated and energetic Assistant Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you’ll work alongside lead teachers to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where children can thrive. Responsibilities Assist with implementing daily lesson plans and activities that support children's development. Help maintain a positive and organized classroom environment. Foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and learning activities. Communicate daily with families to share updates on their child’s progress. Ensure the classroom and play areas are safe, clean, and meet licensing standards. Support lead teachers in supervising children and maintaining a structured daily routine. Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff members. Qualifications Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent. A positive, energetic, and nurturing personality. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Willingness to learn and grow in the field of early childhood education.
