Location: New York (Hybrid Role – at least 2 days onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
• Hadoop/Spark/Big data implementation experience 4+ years
• Java 8+ years
• Oracle SQL, PL/SQL (definitely required) 8+ years
• J2ee 8 + years
• Development in Unix, Linux Env, Shell scripting 5 + years
• Scala/functional programming 2 + years
• Must have Basel III & Accounting implementation experience
• Ability to utilize programming methodologies and languages
• Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles
• Should have experience working with data ingestion and processing/performance tuning using Sqoop/Spark.
• Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala
• Should have experience working with larger volume of data
• Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
• Efficient coding i.e. adhering to coding standards, procedures and techniques
• Effective analysis of new and existing applications and platforms
• Clear communication and documentation of technical specifications
• Experience working with CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Test Driven Development/test automation.
