Plastic Painter

Location: Clearwater, Florida

Full Time | Manufacturing | Sign Industry

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plastic Painter to prep, prime, and paint metal signs and cabinets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare plastic surfaces for painting
• Mix standard and custom colors
• Apply translucent acrylic paint using HVLP spray equipment
• Adjust spray guns for proper paint flow and coverage
• Mask and protect surfaces before painting
• Inspect and correct finish imperfections
• Clean paint guns, booths, pressure pots, and work areas
• Follow all PPE, fire-safety, material-storage, and equipment-safety procedure

What We’re Looking For

• Previous plastic-painting or industrial spray-painting experience
• Experience with paint guns, sanders, and other hand or power tools
• The ability to mix colors, read a tape measure, and follow shop drawings
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
• Forklift experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (team lift up to 100 lbs)

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Overtime as needed; occasional evenings/weekends
