Plastic Painter
Location: Clearwater, Florida
Full Time | Manufacturing | Sign Industry
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plastic Painter to prep, prime, and paint metal signs and cabinets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare plastic surfaces for painting
- Mix standard and custom colors
- Apply translucent acrylic paint using HVLP spray equipment
- Adjust spray guns for proper paint flow and coverage
- Mask and protect surfaces before painting
- Inspect and correct finish imperfections
- Clean paint guns, booths, pressure pots, and work areas
- Follow all PPE, fire-safety, material-storage, and equipment-safety procedure
What We’re Looking For
- Previous plastic-painting or industrial spray-painting experience
- Experience with paint guns, sanders, and other hand or power tools
- The ability to mix colors, read a tape measure, and follow shop drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
- Forklift experience a plus
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (team lift up to 100 lbs)
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Overtime as needed; occasional evenings/weekends
