TempExperts is hiring for two separate positions with a well-established company in Fort Myers, FL . We are seeking dependable individuals for either a Warehouse Helper position or a Yard Worker position. While both roles support warehouse and material-handling operations, the day-to-day responsibilities will differ depending on the position.

POSITION 1 – WAREHOUSE HELPER

The Warehouse Helper will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving materials, pulling and staging orders, loading and unloading trucks, inventory activities, and maintaining an organized and safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials.
• Pull and stage orders for customers and job sites.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and manual labor.
• Count, inspect, and document returned equipment.
• Maintain inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Keep the warehouse and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely when qualified.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs when needed.
• Follow all OSHA, company, and safety procedures.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of warehouse or material-handling experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a physically active environment.

POSITION 2 – YARD WORKER

The Yard Worker will be responsible for organizing, inspecting, staging, and moving equipment and materials throughout the yard. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and is comfortable working around construction equipment and materials.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and move scaffolding, access equipment, and construction materials.
• Inspect equipment for damage and report repair needs.
• Clean, sort, organize, and store materials in designated yard locations.
• Prepare orders for shipment and customer pickup.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment when certified.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Keep the yard, warehouse, and work areas clean and free of hazards.
• Assist drivers and warehouse personnel with material staging and transportation needs.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, construction, yard, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing 50+ pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Dependable and safety-conscious.

Physical Requirements:

Both positions require frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods and following required safety procedures and PPE requirements.
