Job Title Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights) Location Scranton, Pennsylvania Schedule / Job Type Contract – Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for general medical, surgical, short-stay, orthopaedic, and stroke patients Monitor and care for remote telemetry patients as part of a 1:6 patient ratio on a 30-bed unit Perform EKG interpretation, IV insertion, Foley insertion, and medication administration Conduct point-of-care testing including blood glucose monitoring Complete vital signs collection and thorough assessment documentation using Cerner EMR Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) and float to other units as needed per facility requirements Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical experience required Current BLS certification required Current ACLS certification required Current NIHSS certification required Proficiency with Cerner EMR Preferred Experience / Skills Experience caring for telemetry-monitored patients Familiarity with orthopaedic and stroke patient populations Comfort with floating to additional units as operationally required Why Join Us No on-call requirements and blocked scheduling available upon request Opportunity to work in a structured, well-defined clinical environment with a clear scope of practice Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 774656.
