• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 Hours Monday through Friday; Orientation shifts: 08001630 (likely first two weeks); Optional call shifts available (not required): MF 04302200, SatSun 06002200, 60-minute response time

Job Summary

This is a Nuclear Medicine Tech position at an Acute Care Hospital with MAGNET designation. The clinician will be expected to perform PET scans prior experience is preferred, but on-site training is available. This is a reduced Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) role with 0 hours NBO versus the standard 40 hours NBO. All orientation is billable for preferred profiles. First-time travelers will not be accepted; candidates must have at least 2 years of experience to be screened.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures including PET scans
• Complete orientation shifts (08001630, likely first two weeks)
• Follow the assigned schedule of 5x8, Monday through Friday; no weekends or holidays required
• Optionally take call shifts if interested (not required) call shifts are MF 04302200 and SatSun 06002200 with a 60-minute response time
• Adhere to all facility scheduling requirements; scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech required
• No first-time travelers accepted; must have at least 2 years of experience to be screened
• PET scan experience preferred; willing to train on site
• BLS certification required
• NMTCB or ARRT certification required
• CA State license required (pending license not accepted)
• RTO restrictions: RTO must be included at time of submission

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• NMTCB certification required (ARRT also accepted)
• CA State Nuclear Medicine Tech license required pending license not accepted

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech required
• No first-time travelers; candidates with at least 2 years of experience may be screened
