Position Summary:

As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing commercial facilities and equipment. This hands-on position requires a versatile skill set and the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve a variety of maintenance issues across multiple trades.

The ideal candidate has experience in general building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and repair work, along with a strong commitment to safety and quality service.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues
  • Perform electrical repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Complete plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Service and maintain HVAC equipment and systems
  • Perform general carpentry and building repairs as needed
  • Provide handyman services, including minor repairs and installations
  • Ensure facilities and equipment comply with all applicable safety standards and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests when required
Qualifications:
  • Experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, construction, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as required
Work Enviroment:

Facility Maintenance Technicians work in a variety of commercial settings, including office buildings, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, retail locations, and other business environments.

This role may require:
  • Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Working at heights or in confined spaces
  • Lifting and transporting tools, equipment, and materials
  • On-call, evening, weekend, or emergency-response work as needed
