Opportunity The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. The Service Leader keeps a clean, organized line with properly functioning equipment, works while clocked in unless on break, evaluates tasks during downtime, and assists colleagues with duties as needed. What You’ll Do Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served Help to resolve food quality issues Support food safety by ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies and procedures Help to resolve customer incidents and work to ensure positive customer experiences Help to monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules Develop and cross‑train all front‑of‑house crew Assist with crew performance reviews Develop future Service Leaders Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork Ensure office equipment remains in working order and office supplies are ordered as necessary Ensure the proper quantity of supplies is available as needed What You’ll Bring To The Table Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures Knowledge of food safety and health department matters Familiarity with office paperwork Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location High school diploma Restaurant experience What’s In It For You Tuition assistance (100% coverage for select degrees or up to $5,250 per year) Free food Medical, dental, and vision insurance Digital tips Paid time off Holiday closures Competitive compensation Opportunities for advancement (80% of managers started as Crew) Pay Transparency Base pay range: $19.65–$21.86 per hour.
