About The Cardiology Department In the Cardiology Department at Montrose Regional Health, the cardiologists and patients are supported by a compassionate, educated and experienced staff of nurses, technologists and nuclear medicine technologists with a total of more than 150 years of experience in the field of cardiology. The goal of the Cardiology Department at Montrose Regional Health is to perform a diagnostic cardiac catheterization on every patient as precisely, thoroughly and efficiently as possible. The end result is a diagnosis that will lead to the best treatment possible while prolonging and improving the quality of life for each patient. About The Career Provides cardiopulmonary assessments on patients at rest and during exercise, provides and monitors exercise component. All About You Education: Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Colorado. BCLS/ACLS certified. At least 2 years experience, preferably in CCU/ER/ICU. Arrhythmia recognition and intervention knowledge skills. Knowledge of exercise response in heart and lung patients and those with comorbid conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, etc. Knowledge of conditions of the heart and lung and circulation requiring cardiac/pulmonary and vascular rehabilitation.
