Role Description The Manager/Insurance and Billing Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Delray Beach, FL. This role is responsible for managing the full billing cycle, including verifying insurance benefits, obtaining pre-authorizations, and accurately entering patient and insurance information into billing systems. Daily tasks include generating and submitting insurance claims, reviewing explanation of benefits (EOBs), posting payments, resolving discrepancies, and following up on unpaid or denied claims. The coordinator will prepare and send patient statements, address billing inquiries in a professional manner, and help patients understand their insurance coverage and financial responsibility. The role also involves working closely with the front desk and clinical team to ensure accurate coding, proper documentation, and timely collection of balances while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and practice policies.

Qualifications:

DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE - IS A REQUIREMENT

• Proficiency in billing functions, including DENTAL Billing , Invoicing, and working with Billing Systems.
• Strong Analytical Skills to review claims, identify discrepancies, and resolve billing or payment issues.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance representatives, and internal team members.
• Prior experience in dental or medical billing and insurance coordination is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with dental insurance plans, CDT codes, EOBs, and pre-authorizations is a plus.
• High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
• Comfort with practice management software and general computer proficiency (e.g., email, spreadsheets). xhyhwjd
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in billing or healthcare administration is beneficial.
