Sanitation / Custodian Technician
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Sanitation / Custodian Technician to join their team. As a Sanitation / Custodian Technician, you will be an essential part of the sanitation department supporting the production and packaging facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Pay Range: $20.00/hr
Shift: Overnight, Monday-Friday 9pm-5am - 3rd Shift
What's the Job?
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of production and packaging equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the manufacturing facility, including walls, floors, doors, and other surfaces.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as power scrubbers, foamers, and forklifts safely and effectively.
- Remove trash, debris, and spills promptly to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Follow established sanitation schedules and document all activities accurately, including corrective actions when necessary.
What's Needed?
- Previous cleaning / sanitation experience needed - preferably in a hospital or school setting
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures diligently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Availability to work overnight shifts from Monday to Friday.
