As an Armed Security Officer at an innovative technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and policy violations.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Maintain required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and company policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
