Requirements Position Summary The Cath Lab Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and interventional radiologists with pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care. Provides teaching/follow-up to patients and their families, and the management of information for patients undergoing invasive cardiology and/or vascular procedures, while assisting in diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures, IR, or vascular procedures based on facility scope. Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Graduation from an approved school of professional nursing. Current Arizona or Compact State Registered Nurse License. Maintains current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs. Maintains current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs. Minimum of two years critical care experience. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of MGRMC staff, management, and providers. An understanding of computer systems, process design, and data management. Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance. Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job. Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds. Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency. Preferred Qualifications Able to operate all patient care equipment to assist with CV/IR/Vascular procedures within the Cath Lab. 3 years of registered nurse experience in the Cath Lab Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
