Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of distributed database architecture, replication, and high-availability concepts.
- Expert-level experience with CockroachDB administration and cluster management.
- Expertise in query optimization, database performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Strong experience in backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and database monitoring.
- Good understanding of database security, user management, and access controls.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with shell scripting (Bash) or Python for database automation.
- Experience working in large-scale, high-volume production environments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
