Project Manager

Job Description Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team player to manage projects and programs and build business with existing clients. This position could reside at one of BE’s offices or at a client facility. Job Duties/Responsibilities Project Management Lead for developing project execution plans for managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk. Manage the project team and ensure compliance with client, project, and internal standards and goals Manage and report on project resources assigned by the Discipline Department Managers Manage and report on project budget and progress Primary point of communication between BE and the Client and all contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, etc. Business Development Identify and act on opportunities to improve and expand business with existing clients Develop proposals and estimates Build client relationships between the Client Team and BE Team Understand client trends and needs, coordinate with BE Management Understand BE services and communicate with the client Support business development activities Other Report on project status, financial status, issues, opportunities, and risks Internal coordination on project resources across departments and other projects. Advance company goals and objectives Mentor project and discipline engineers and other project team members Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (preferred) Experience: Minimum 10 years; experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects preferred Technical Skills: Background in project development and execution for the oil & gas, chemical, renewable energy & power, and manufacturing industries Management: Experienced in leading the commercial interface with clients, and leading internal teams for project/program execution. Other Skills: Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing projects.
