Printing Production Assistant

Center City Print is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated individual to join our production team.

The Printing Production Assistant helps move customer orders through the production process accurately and on time. This position involves operating digital printing equipment, checking jobs for quality, organizing workflow, completing finishing tasks, and helping ensure orders meet customer specifications and deadlines.

Previous printing experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is comfortable learning new equipment, working with computers, and being part of a fast-moving production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize daily print production workflow
• Operate digital printing and finishing equipment
• Review jobs for accuracy, quality, and completeness
• Prepare and preflight customer files before production
• Use Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, and print production software
• Monitor multiple printers and jobs throughout the day
• Perform print finishing, packaging, and other production tasks
• Keep jobs organized and moving toward their deadlines
• Troubleshoot basic production or file issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Learn new equipment, materials, and production processes through on-the-job training

Qualifications:

• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Comfortable managing multiple jobs and priorities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working with computers and learning new software
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred
• Previous printing or production experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
