Animal Clinic of Grand Prairie is Hiring a Kennel Technician! Status: Full-time Salary: Negotiable and based on experience Schedule: Weekdays and Weekends as well as Holidays We are a busy, compassionate veterinary practice dedicated to providing excellent care to our patients and a positive experience for our clients. We are looking for a hardworking, dependable Kennel Technician to join our team. Responsibilities: Provide daily care for dogs and cats, including feeding, watering, and monitoring. Clean and disinfect kennels, runs, litter boxes, and common areas. Walk dogs and provide enrichment throughout the day. Assist with bathing, nail trims, and basic grooming as needed. Observe animals’ behavior and report any concerns to veterinary staff. Ensure laundry, dishes, and cleaning tasks are completed throughout each shift. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for animals, clients, and staff. Help with patient handling and restraint when requested by veterinary staff. Follow all clinic protocols for sanitation, safety, and animal welfare. Qualifications: Previous animal care experience preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability preferred.
