Precision Assembler

Precision AssemblerThe Precision Assembler is responsible for the accurate assembly of electric motor components in accordance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and production requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work with small parts and tight tolerances, and strict adherence to safety and quality procedures.Key Responsibilities:Assemble electrical motors and subassemblies using detailed work instructions, drawings, and specificationsPerform precision mechanical and electrical assembly of components such as rotors, stators, shafts, bearings, windings and housingsUse hand tools, torque tools, presses, gauges, and fixtures to complete assembly tasksVerify parts, orientation, and tolerances to ensure proper motor functionPerform in-process inspections and final checks to ensure assemblies meet quality standardsIdentify and report defects, nonconforming parts, or process issuesFollow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirementsMaintain a clean and organized workstation (6S standards)Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent0-2 years of experienceAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsProficient in the use of hand and power toolsExcellent attention to detail and quality standardsStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentEqual Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at Nidec Nidec is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
