Accounting Specialist

Maintainsup-to-date billing system and follow up, collection and allocation of payments. Responsible for timely and accurate processing of accounts payable duties Daily opening of mail and date stamping Filing of processed invoices and PO’s. Carriesout billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines. Providesreconciliation of accounts and maintain accounts receivable/payableclientfiles Monitorsclient/vendoraccount details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities Followsestablished procedures for processing receipts, cash, adjustments and preparesbank deposits Investigatesand resolvesclient/vendorqueries Performs additional research as needed Organizesa recovery system and initiatescollection efforts Communicateswithclients/vendorsvia phone, email, mail or personally Other duties as assigned Other Skills & Abilities Strong working knowledge of accounts receivable/payable Pays attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and decision-making skills Ability to problem-solve Negotiation and conflict management skills Proficient in relevant computer applications.
