Job DescriptionEpic and Bedside Medication Verification on a routine basis, works unassisted in critical care areas after check offs completed, able to perform all modes of therapy in all areas of hospital after clinical check offs completed, able to assess patients' needs and suggest appropriate therapy needs per the active RT Protocols, and acts as a mentor to students and new staff.
Required Qualifications:"Associate's Degree in respiratory care
Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in KS
CRT/RRT credential from NBRC
Basic computer knowledge"
Preferred Qualifications:"Bachelors/Masters Degree in Respiratory Care or related field
Additional respiratory therapy education or work experience
Experience in clinical instruction of students
6 months of experience in critical care"
License Required: "Respiratory Therapist (RT) license from the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
CRT/RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) "
Certificates Required: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP
