Truss Design Manager

Job Description Our client located in Nashville, TN is actively looking for a Truss Design Manager with a background in Wood truss design for floors and roofs. This position can start remotely, but eventually would require relocation to Nashville. Required:

- 7 plus years of Wood Truss Design experience
- Proficient with Alpine Truss Design Software or comparable software
- Plus Experience designing Wall panel or Timber Trusses
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and construction drawings
- Excellent math skills
- Estimating and quoting experience from take offs
- Experience managing others / 2-3 remote employees) and 2 in office employees and checking their work.
- Ability/Experience creating and managing schedules. - critical
- Ability to work closely with sales and plant to meet goals and stay on schedule.
- Able to lead others, assign work, check work, ensure schedules and goals are met.
- Budgets and Forecasting
- Review Contracts and purchase orders
Can work remote to start-then relocate to Nashville
