Truss Design Manager

Job Description

Our client located in Nashville, TN is actively looking for a Truss Design Manager with a background in Wood truss design for floors and roofs. This position can start remotely, but eventually would require relocation to Nashville.

Required:

• 7 plus years of Wood Truss Design experience
• Proficient with Alpine Truss Design Software or comparable software
• Plus Experience designing Wall panel or Timber Trusses
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and construction drawings
• Excellent math skills
• Estimating and quoting experience from take offs
• Experience managing others / 2-3 remote employees) and 2 in office employees and checking their work.
• Ability/Experience creating and managing schedules. - critical
• Ability to work closely with sales and plant to meet goals and stay on schedule.
• Able to lead others, assign work, check work, ensure schedules and goals are met.
• Budgets and Forecasting
• Review Contracts and purchase orders

Salary Range-$80,000-$120,000 (depending on experience)
Can work remote to start-then relocate to Nashville
