Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical Telemetry RN – Pennsylvania

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week contract with every other weekend requirement. Patient ratio of 6:1 across all shifts. No floating required. 2-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Medical Surgical Telemetry unit serving adolescent and adult patient populations
• Epic charting system with both on-unit and remote telemetry monitoring capabilities
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries
• Diverse case mix including total joint replacements, ortho trauma, CVA, renal failure, colostomy/ileostomy management, and complex wound care
• First-time travelers welcome with strong onboarding support
• Navy scrubs provided

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 6:1 patient ratios preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and wound care/wound vac
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Pennsylvania fingerprinting and childline clearances required
