What You'll Do:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting, following hospital protocols and the nursing process
- Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any emergencies or complications
- Maintain sterile field and manage surgical equipment and supplies
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Support and lead other healthcare team members in a fast-paced environment
What You Need:
- Current Louisiana RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of operating room nursing experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
