\n Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Thoracic Surgery team.\n

\n Practice within one of the nation's leading cancer programs while working alongside experienced thoracic surgeons in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.\n
\n \n\n
\n \n
\n \n\n
\n Position Highlights \n
\n \n\n
\n • Monday–Friday schedule\n
\n \n\n
\n • Mix of clinic, inpatient care, OR, and cancer surveillance\n
\n \n\n
\n • First assist in open, minimally invasive, and robotic thoracic surgery cases\n
\n \n\n
\n • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards\n
\n \n\n
\n • State-of-the-art cancer center dedicated exclusively to oncology care\n
\n \n\n
\n • Epic EMR\n
\n \n\n
\n \n
\n \n\n
\n Responsibilities \n
\n \n\n
\n • Outpatient evaluation and management\n
\n \n\n
\n • Postoperative and cancer surveillance follow-up\n
\n \n\n
\n • Inpatient rounding and consults\n
\n \n\n
\n • Chest tube management and procedural support\n
\n \n\n
\n • First assist in thoracic surgery procedures\n
\n \n\n
\n • Support interventional pulmonology procedures\n
\n \n\n
\n \n
\n \n\n
\n Qualifications \n
\n \n\n
\n • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program\n
\n \n\n
\n • Florida PA license (or eligibility)\n
\n \n\n
\n • NCCPA certification required\n
\n \n\n
\n • First assist experience preferred\n
\n \n\n
\n • Robotic surgery experience preferred\n
\n \n\n
\n \n
\n \n\n
