This position requires transfer customer boats to and from the storage facility while maintaining the highest possible safety standards.Job Duties:Safely maneuver the forklifts handling large center consoles up to 50'Identify and report damages, shortages and quality deficiencies as necessaryInspect machinery, perform regular maintenance (e.g., recharging batteries and lubricating equipment) and determine repair needsKeep updated records of activity logsComply with company policies and legal guidelinesEnsure a safe, efficient and injury-free working environmentExperience & skills you need:High school diploma, or the equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 2 years previous experience driving a Marine ForkliftValid driver's licenseCurrent certification to operate forklifts in accordance with OSHA standardsStrong knowledge of industrial equipment and attention to detailExcellent physical condition and the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require good hand-eye-foot coordination and sense of balanceAbility to assess and judge weights, distances and heightsAbility to work in various temperatures according to seasonal weather variationsIn return for your excellent skills and abilities, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, and vision plans, a generous 401(k) employer match, and paid vacations, holidays, and sick time.
