Business Analyst Enterprise Asset Management

Role: BA with EAM

Location: Georgetown, KY

Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented Business Analyst with a focus on Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems, specifically IBM Maximo. In this role, you will bridge the gap between maintenance, operations, and IT. You will analyze asset management workflows, gather business requirements, and translate them into system configurations to optimize equipment reliability,maintenance planning, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation: Collaborate with reliability engineers, maintenance planners, and shop floor supervisors to document business needs, functional requirements, and process maps for Maximo workflows.

Maximo Process Optimization: Evaluate current-state maintenance, work order, and inventory processes, designing streamlined future-state workflows within IBM Maximo.

Testing: Support the testing of Maximo modules (such as Assets,Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance, and Inventory), and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Data Governance & Integration: Oversee asset hierarchy standards, data structures, and data migration efforts to ensure data integrity between Maximo and other enterprise systems 

Ideal Candidate Requirements

Experience: 8+ years of proven professional experience as a Business Analyst, with extensive expertise in managing IBM Maximo or similar EAM/CMMS platforms.

Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of maintenance operations, asset lifecycles, inventory control, and calibration management within manufacturing or industrial environments.

Skills: Strong analytical mindset, excellent stakeholder management, and proficiency in mapping business processes and documenting technical requirements.
