Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: Compact license accepted (must be obtained prior to start) Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 3-4 - Experience with charting systems (preferred Epic) Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for Post Partum Couplet Care. The ideal candidate will have experience in post partum nursing. Candidates may float to similar units as needed. Weekends are required as part of the scheduling. The unit typically cares for adolescents, infants, and adults. Daily patient census is approximately 20 patients. The unit has 22 beds and rooms available for patient care. Key responsibilities include administration of medications, discharge teaching, and patient assessments. Experience with couplet care and lactation support is important. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Travelers are expected to adapt to facility needs and experience brief orientation upon arrival. Clinical skills in post partum care are crucial for providing quality patient care.
