Job Description

35 Temporary, full-time (min. 35 hours per week) Housekeepers needed 11/16/2026 – 04/11/2027.

Requirements: No education requirement; No experience required. On the job training provided. While performing duties, must stand, walk; handle or feel objects, tools, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk, hear; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and sometimes lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must exert physical effort in being able to clean several rooms or areas per shift.

Wage & Overtime: Wage is $21.00 per hour. Overtime may be available but not guaranteed. Employer may increase wage based on experience and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime wage is $31.50 per hour. Workers will be paid biweekly. Employer will use a single work week as its standard for computing wages due. Additional fringe benefits include: discounts for ski passes, spa, retail and food & beverage, uniform without charge (not shoes), supplies, tools and equipment required to perform the job duties.

Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week guaranteed. Will work varied eight-hour shifts Monday - Sunday, may be scheduled 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. Hours and shifts may vary due to occupancy. Days off will vary based on need. Must be able to work holidays and weekends as needed.

Duties: Cleaning and resetting guest bedroom, bathroom, and public areas; changing linens; making beds; conducting turndown service in the evenings; organizing collateral on tables; straightening furniture; cleaning; dusting and vacuuming of rooms and public areas; emptying trash; stocking satellite closets; providing and retrieving linen supplies; being courteous and helpful to Hotel guests, including reporting any guest requests or preferences; transporting dirty linen to storage for truck pick up; clearing snow from guest room balconies and other outdoor areas (some of our guest rooms have balconies, which sometimes accumulate snow in the winter season. In such cases, and only where the Engineering Department does not at first assist, Housekeepers use a shovel to clear the snow from the balcony. No other snow removal is required outside of guest balconies. A shovel, snowpants, jackets, hats and gloves are provided; employer provides appropriate cold weather gear to ensure safety and comfort); maintaining public restrooms stock and cleanliness. and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Deductions: Employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck as required by law, and deduct approved cost of optional housing ($750 per month plus a one-time $250 non-refundable administrative fee) and transportation ($100 per month) if worker elects these, deducted from bi-weekly paychecks. Employer will also deduct cost of nametag at $10 and lost keys to housing at $50 per loss.

Housing and Daily Transportation: Employer will provide option for shared housing, dorm style, fully furnished and no private rooms available, 2 persons per room, available at a cost of $750.00 per month, plus a one-time $250.00 non-refundable administrative fee. Employer provides transportation assistance to and from the worksite at a cost of $100 per month.

Additional H-2B Terms: Employer will provide workers at no charge uniform (not shoes), supplies, tools and equipment required to perform the job duties. Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.

H-2B Travel Terms: Employer will reimburse H-2B worker in first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees and need not include other charges primarily for benefit of the worker). Allowed costs of inbound transportation (including meals, and, to the extent necessary, lodging) from place of recruitment to place of employment is provided or reimbursed to workers, if the worker completes half employment period. All transportation costs are to be pre-approved. Receipts must be submitted. Cost of return transportation provided or reimbursed (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging), if worker completes employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount for daily subsistence will be at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
