Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital OR with at least 2 years of hospital surgical experience required.

Details

• Work in a 7-suite Main OR within the Surgical Services department
• Scrub for a wide variety of surgical specialties including Ortho, General, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Neuro, Robotics, Podiatry, and Dental
• Team includes RNs, CSTs, CST/FAs, and Orderlies
• Meditech EMR used
• Variable/mixed shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating weekends and call required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
• BLS certification required
• CST certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrub most surgical specialties with general knowledge across multiple procedure types
• Preferred experience in Orthopedic totals and trauma, Neurosurgery, and General Surgery Robotics
• Friendly, professional, and self-motivated personality fit preferred
• Hospital-supplied scrubs provided
• Working holidays required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
