As a Security Officer Visitor Registration in Champaign, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns while using computer or tablet systems. Pay Rate: $18.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized credentials, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs.
• Screen and direct vendors, contractors, and delivery drivers in accordance with location procedures, including coordination with receiving and site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
