The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.This position is for a fulltime 4/10C 2nd shift position (Wednesday - Saturday).This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale.Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline• Demonstrated experience with Avionics Systems Integration and Test or Laboratory Hardware development and buildupDesired SkillsDesired skills :• Avionics and SIL experience/background, planning and I&T experience / background, experience with requirements development and integration and test processes, strong laboratory skills, flight test experience • Experience with Sub-System Integration, working in a System Integration Lab and troubleshooting system integration anomalies • CompTIA Security+, Network+, or A+ certification desired in candidate would need to obtain certification upon being hired for this position • Experience in computing systems (Processing, Network, Storage, Display technologies) • Experience modifying and maintaining system test procedures. • Proficiency in cable fabrication, installation and troubleshooting (BNC, ENET, RF, Fiber Optic, data). • Experience with the deployment and configuration management of hardware components • Experience in LabView • Experience with RF design and troubleshooting• Familiarity with communications protocols such as USB, ethernet, serial and video• Leadership experience in SIL environmentPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
