About the Role:

The Employee Dining Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for employees within the accommodation and food services industry. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations, to promote a positive dining experience. The attendant supports food service operations by assisting with the setup and replenishment of food and beverage stations, ensuring that all items are well-stocked and presented attractively. Additionally, the role involves adhering to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices, to comply with regulatory requirements. Ultimately, the Employee Dining Attendant contributes to employee satisfaction and operational efficiency by fostering a pleasant and hygienic dining atmosphere.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Effective communication skills to interact professionally with employees and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
• Certification in food handling or safety (e.g., ServSafe).
• Ability to operate basic kitchen equipment and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the employee dining area, including wiping tables, chairs, and counters regularly.
• Assist in setting up and replenishing food and beverage stations to ensure availability throughout service hours.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies and environmental guidelines.
• Monitor dining area supplies and communicate needs for restocking to management or kitchen staff.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly and courteously to employee inquiries or concerns related to the dining area.
• Support team members during peak hours by assisting with light food preparation or service tasks as needed.
