Senior Full-Stack Developer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 10+ month contract opportunity.

This position is for a senior-level Full-Stack Developer and Architect to support a strategic program focused on delivering actionable informational dashboards. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence by leveraging over ten years of user interface application architecture experience with technologies like Angular and Java/J2EE.

Responsibilities:

• Lead service API design, create and manage reusable artifacts and interface specifications (XSD/WSDL/WADL/Swagger/OpenAPI/YAML/RAML)
• Troubleshoot multiple platform and tiered environments
• Work with business users and business partners in gathering requirements, analyzing technical specifications and generating design documents
• Define and support architecture principles, patterns, and implementation best practices
• Translate requirements provided by Business Analysts and provide wire framing design
• Work on homegrown applications and extend functionality as required; comfortable building multi-page Web Applications from scratch

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a User Interface applications architect and developer
• 7+ years of hands-on development experience in JAVA / J2EE
• Proven experience with Angular, JAVA/J2EE, JavaScript, modern JS frameworks, and UI design
• Integration development experience with Java/J2EE, Web Services (SOAP, REST), Object-Oriented Programming, Spring MVC Framework, and Springboot
• Strong client-side technologies experience including Bootstrap, HTML, Jquery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, ExtJS, Angular, React, JSF, and JSP
• Hands-on experience working with databases like MS SQL Server
• 2+ years working knowledge of Linux environments
• Experience connecting to and using Enterprise Databases and Middleware
• Experience with build and development tools like Eclipse and SCM tools like Maven, uDeploy, GIT, SVN
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Scrum/Agile knowledge
• Able to work independently with minimal guidance
• Must be a team player and proactive in helping teammates
• Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week

Desired skills:

• Experience working in an Infrastructure Management (CTO) domain
• Experience with Tableau, XML/JSON, JMS, and SQL
• Experience in FinOps and Cloud Architecture
• Knowledge of Application Server integration; JBoss 5 or later preferred
• Knowledge of Apache Web Server preferred
• Prior experience across the financial industry

Pay range: $63.68 - $71.68 per hour
