Activity DirectorRate: $21 - $24 (depending on experience) Shift: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pmSusquehanna Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking to add an Activity Director to its team. Join us and build a rewarding career where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others every day.Responsibilities:Develop, organize, and lead engaging individual and group activity programs tailored to resident interests and abilitiesMaintain activity documentation, resident care plans, attendance records, and required NYS DOH reportingParticipate in interdisciplinary meetings, resident care conferences, and resident council activitiesSupervise, support, and orient activity staff and volunteersAssist with special events, community relations, and facility engagement initiativesEnsure compliance with federal and state regulations and perform additional duties as assignedRequirements:Approved by NYS DOH as a Qualified Trained Activity Leader preferredQualified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Recreation Assistant preferredMinimum of two years of full-time paid experience in an activities program within a healthcare settingStrong leadership and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teamsCompassionate and resident-centered approach to careAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-TimeWeekly or Same-Day Pay OptionsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramRetirement Saving OptionsQualificationsEducationHigh School or better.
