Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Physical Therapy license
• Certification as required for school-based practice
• Experience providing physical therapy services in school settings (elementary, middle, or high school preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse student needs and learning levels
• Detail-oriented when documenting progress and treatment plans
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ physical, developmental, and functional abilities within the educational setting
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each student’s goals
• Deliver direct physical therapy services, adjusting interventions to maximize student achievement
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and other therapists
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights for student plans
• Keep accurate records and track student progress according to school and regulatory guidelines
• Provide guidance to educators and families on strategies for supporting student mobility and participation
