Position Type: Special Services/ESL Teacher Date Posted: 7/20/2026 Location: Scarborough Middle School Date Available: August 2026 Closing Date: Until Filled Job Title: ESOL Teacher 2026-27 Date Available: August 2026 Description: Scarborough School Department is seeking a dynamic, experienced, flexible and enthusiastic ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) teacher to work with multilingual students, general education classroom teachers, and families in designing and implementing academic and English language development programs in a variety of settings. Position will focus on grades 6 through 8. Ability to provide direct instruction through intensive English language development classes is required. Experience with positive behavior support plans and multi-tier system of support (MTSS) preferred.
