Responsibilities: Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients as prescribed by oncologists. Monitor and assess patient reactions to treatments, ensuring immediate and appropriate care. Educate patients and families about chemotherapy protocols, potential side effects, and post‑treatment care. Collaborate with oncologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all treatment‑related details. Adhere to all safety and infection control policies. Provide emotional support to patients throughout their treatment journey. Stay updated on the latest oncology care guidelines and chemotherapy protocols. Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of New Mexico. Minimum 3 years of experience in oncology nursing or chemotherapy administration. Oncology Nursing Certification (ONS). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team‑oriented clinical environment. Compassionate and patient‑centered care approach.
