Accounts Payable Manager

A large chemical manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their Accounts Payable department. You will oversee daily operations and supervision of the AP department, and act as AP system super user by leading system updates and implementations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing 6 team members, delegating roles and responsibilities, and managing questions on a daily basis. You will be responsible for ensuring all payments to suppliers/vendors are made timely and accurately, assisting with the preparation of checks and various electronic payments, investigating and resolving any problems associated with processing invoices, ensuring accurate annual distribution of 1099's, and assisting with weekly cash forecasts. Additionally, you will manage vendor relations and be the front of all communication with vendors, ensuring all invoices are resolved in a timely manner. The established salary for this role is $120,000-130,000, based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related
8+ years of experience in accounts payable
• Posting and reconciling bills
• Setting up vendors in an ERP system
• Preparing weekly cash forecasts
• Managing company card programs and monthly
reconciliations of the programs
• 5+ years of experience supervising/managing others within the AP department
• Experience operating in a large ERP system (D365, SAP, ect)
• Experience building relationships with vendors to ensure smooth processes and timely payments

• Experience using D365
• Experience using ExFlow for invoice processing
• Experience using ReadSoft (Kofax) for business processes
